Versatile Luxurious Winter Wonder Jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have a closest full of Assos Jackets going back over a decade of riding. Of all the jackets I have, the Habu is my favorite. It fits great. The fabric is some of the best Assos has ever designed. And the feel is luxurious. Exactly what you would expect from Assos. The Johdah is great for sub-freezing early morning riding in the mountains of Utah when you need the most insulation. The Habu is for everything else. When the temperatures dipped in the 30s, this is the jacket I grabbed all winter this past year. On an early March ride I crashed, rolled and tore my shoulder, but the Habu wasn't damaged. If you need a versatile jacket that you can pair with various base layers to get you through rides from November through April, pick the Habu.

Almost Perfect
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Really like this jacket. When paired with an Assos base layer and mid layer, I’ve ridden this easily into 30s. I haven’t confirmed yet but expect I can get into the 20s if using the (separate LS mid-layer). My only complaint is that the sleeves are on the baggy side.
