Piz GV Mountaineering Boot

The Asolo Piz GV Mountaineering Boot is designed for comfort throughout long days in alpine terrain. Its Gore-Tex Performance lining seals out slush and melting snow without trapping in vapor that could dampen your sock and chill your foot. The Vibram Mulaz sole maximizes traction whether you're climbing or braking on a descent, and works with a dual-density midsole to provide shock absorption to reduce fatigue for long climbs. The AsoFlex Spiky Nylon + Fiberglass last provides structure for stability whether you're climbing vertically or traversing laterally. The Piz GV uses Dual Integrated System technology to make it compatible with semi-automatic crampons, enabling you to take on icy adventures with more bite and confidence.

Best pair for me

Size Bought:

My two feet were very tired and sore at the end of 20miles difficult hike. The trail was rocky. My fellow hiker recommended me to wear Mountaineering Boot instead for next hike. I wore it to the same trail yesterday. It worked out great, I did not experienced feet sore nor tiredness at the end. Thumb up for it.

Wore these for a very rocky climb with about a 3,000 foot elevation gain. They fit perfectly. Great foot and ankle support, couldn't feel the sharp rocks. And love the cheerful colors. Did a six mile hike first time out, no chafing, slipping or anything. Would absolutely buy again.

Cannot give enough praise to this boot. Sticky soles, extremely durable, handy for snow and glacier travel, great traction in mud and scree, and they’re actually comfortable on distance endeavors. I tested these bad boys in some very rough terrain and they just shrugged it off. If you need a heavier boot that does everything but don’t need the insulation, this is the one.
