New to this season, Asics replaced the GT-2000's standard midsole with its FluidRide midsole to make the shoe lighter. FluidRide provides bounce-back convenience as well as cushioned comfort, and the Dynamic DuoMax support system ensures the necessary stability and support that mild to moderate pronators desperately need. Additionally, Asics equipped this shoe's upper with a supportive exoskeletal Heel Clutching System, and the ComforDry liner gives extra cushioning and anti-odor comfort.
