Good, Light, and Quality Value.

This is great to be ultralight, just took it on a 24 mile trip. It seems that the pump-bag could be modified to be a stuff sack also, to reduce the weight. I do find the pad is slick and the pad moves at night. Why is it yellow? Could it come in other colors? I love the new style value, it is the best part as it is very secure. I am 5'3" and I love the fact you sell a short pad. (I wish you did this with your quilts. )

Side sleeper.

Great, thick mattress and the weight makes it a non-negotiable. Excited to use the mini pump to inflate this much faster.

Light and quieter

I've had various generations of the NeoAir Xlite NXT. This one is a tad heavier than the last generation (13oz vs 12oz) but it is quieter. It's worked well for me so far.

Fun for the whole family

This is the 3rd one we have bought for the family. I have adults and kids sleeping on them and we bring them car camping and backpacking. They keep the air in with no issues and are great insulation.

No customer service, don't waste your $

I bought this when Backcountry had a sale, but didn't have the opportunity to use it right away. First trip out on the trail, 40 degrees overnight, it deflated & I spent the next three nights on trail on the cold, hard ground. With Backcountry's return policy, there isn't a way to return to them or even receive store credit. Cascade Designs suggested that I try to patch the BRAND NEW mattress. Save your money & find a company with better customer service.

Extremely Disappointed

I am rarely one to ever write reviews but I am an extremely disappointed customer. I ordered this pad and it showed up without the inside sack that helps to fill the sack as well as keep it stored and dry. I contacted customer service and they made me aware that they cannot provide shipping to Hawaii to get me a new pad, so I went to return the pad online and they REQUIRE that I use a mail service and don’t provide even taking a cost off for shipping back to the returns office. I took this package to get shipped and it was going to cost $177.00 to ship back to the returns center. This is UNBELIEVABLE. Why are you shipping to Hawaii if you won’t allow for return service from there???? I am beside myself over this and will never be buying another thing from Backcountry. Keep your money.

Super easy to use. I

Super easy to use. I have about 10 nights on it and really like it. It’s not too loud at night and does well to keep you warm. It’s skinny so if you are a back sleeper and want more room for your arms then maybe consider the wide but the regular packs up very small which I like.

Excellent pad

Insulated great. Very light and packs small. Regular pad is definitely narrow.

This pad is my go

This pad is my go to for basically everything! For the warmth and weight I really don't think you can beat it.

Lasted me 4 years!

Love this sleeping pad and I have not experienced leaking! I've spent many nights on this pad, 4 years backpacking and hunting, and 2 seasons fighting wildfire. Sadly though, it only took one sharp rock to tear a 3inch hole in the bottom of it. Will be buying another one soon.

Leaked on first use, patched and leaked

I was so excited about this sleeping pad but it leaked on my first use in the backcountry. Slept on the cold hard ground. I found the leak (near the seam, so manufacture issue) and patched it then used it again and it still deflated. Now I have to return it for store credit only, they won’t refund my purchase. Not happy about this one.

Warm, light, super light and packable…just need a bit wider.

Super comfy and packs down so small...Only suggestion would be to widen it by two inches from the shoulder to the elbow…the aesthetics would be off, but then my arms would not always be resting on the cold ground.

Quieter than ever!

Still the best pad on the market and now that I have tried the new and impressive quite version I am more sold than ever. Comfort in inhospitable places without waking up the next farm over!

It leaked right away

I decided to pay a bit more for a better inflatable pad after my 10 year old REI ones started leaking. Unfortunately, this one started leaking when I tested it at home before my trip. Now I need to find a quick replacement.

Satisfied newbie

This is the first real sleeping pad I’ve ever purchased. I’ve used it a few times now, and so far I really like it. I have used an electric pump and the included pump sack to inflate it. Both ways work just fine. The valve confused me the first time I tried to deflate it, but I figured out that it has two parts: the main circular section used for inflation, and a safety lock to keep it from deflating when you don’t want it to. I opened the circular valve (same as for inflation), then used the two white levers to twist the safety mechanism open so that it could deflate. It packs up well for storage back in its little stuff sack. It seems pretty durable, even when I have a dog in the tent. :)

Comfortable, lightweight, and quieter than the original, but still noisy

I've had the original NeoAir XLite for about ten years and it's finally stopped holding air overnight, but there's no discernable hole so it was time to replace it. I liked the comfort of the pad, but it's always been very loud when moving around. When researching a replacement, it came down to the new NXT version and the Nemo Tensor All Season. At 6' 1", I need a long mat, and the only long version Nemo makes is rectangular, so I chose to stick with the long mummy shaped Thermarest. The new version is just as comfortable as the original and a little quieter, but it's still a noisy pad.
