Proudly built by hand in Osceola, Wisconsin, the Aqua Bound Manta Ray Hybrid Versa-Lok 2-Piece Paddle is a light but powerful paddle for recreational kayakers. The carbon shaft minimizes weight while the oversized paddle blades provide flutter-free performance and plenty of horsepower with each stroke. The Versa-Lok Ferrule system not only lets us feather the paddle blades 60 degrees in either direction but also can extend the paddle length another 15 centimeters to accommodate wider boats or taller paddlers. This is a performance paddle for rec boats and heavily loaded fishing kayaks that require a little more oomph.
