Why We Like The North Face Dawnstrike GTX Insulated Jacket
With waterproof, breathable protection and an environmentally friendly build, the Dawnstrike GTX Insulated Jacket is a reliable winter warrior for all of our resort days. The North Face outfitted this jacket with a 2-layer GORE-TEX membrane to shield us against snow and sleet, while the Heatseeker Eco Pro insulation does its part to combat frigid lift rides. Our favorite part is this jacket is comprised entirely out of recycled materials to help save our favorite natural playgrounds.

I love the weight of this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a soft light beautiful to put on jacket. I got this a lot big to go over another puffy when it's really cold outside. Thhe zipper would get stuck at the bottom. The insulation isn't super duper warm but its nice.

I would buy this product again and again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Dawnstrike GORE-TEX Insulates Jacket. It's not very thick, but it is very warm. I also love the color (almond butter) and the depth of the pockets.

I like the jacket, wish they had other color options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the jacket, very lightweight. Bought at end of season so not sure how warm/cold it will feel like during snow sports. I notice the fabric gets stuck in the zipper at times which may be an issue long-term. Fabric is a bit stiff also. Bought it because I had my previous NorthFace ski jacket for 13 YEARS so I trust the brand. Wish they had more fun colors ( only had black and a tan color offered).

LOVE the fit - Love the COLOR - Love the FEEL
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is is super light super functional jacket. Not as warm as I anticipated. But I got it more as a shell so it will work fantastic. Soft and functional. Stoked!!

Great jacket for the slopes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really great fit and not too heavy - but kept me warm and dry all day when it was dumping at Heavenly resort!

Flimsy material
Although I love this jacket, the outer fabric tore after the first day I used it. There are a ton of tiny nicks on the front of the jacket and I can see that they will spread. I reached out to customer service to ask about the limited lifetime warranty, but they said this type of damage isn't "the direct result of defective craftsmanship" so it isn't covered. It's a nice jacket, but not worth the price tag.

Overall Great Jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome jacket! I did have to exchange for a smaller one. But I loved all the features it offers! One requirement for me was to find a water resistant jacket with a hood, chest pocket.

Perfect ski jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm coat! Just what I was looking for to go on my ski trip. No need for lots of layers and reduces the bulk.

Loove the jacket
Usually fit in S comfortably but wanted something more loose for me for snowboarding. Got this in M so I can fit my baselayer and midlayer for extra cold days without restricting movement. Confident to go only in baselayer with this as the heat seeker tech holds in the warmth nicely without the extra bulk. Wore this in -10C weather in Whistler, BC no problem - had to open up the ventilation cause I decided to do base and midlayers but feel like I could do the baselayer only comfortably if I wanted. I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs, if you like regular/relaxed-ish fit, go with a S. If you like relaxed/loose-ish fit with lots of room for layering, M is perfect.
