Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket was all I needed this winter. I'm used to layering, excessively. With this I only needed the jacket itself. Perfect for central Virginia winters!

Bought for Warmth, Day to Day Use & Shorter Length-Excellet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really enjoying using the Corefire Down Windstopper Jacket so far this winter. I'm in Minnesota, and it's been a fairly mild winter temperature wise and even more so with little snow. But in the most recent cold stretch (-5 to 10 degrees) I wore it day to day running around the city and walking the dog. I have a separate longer just as warm winter coat but now with a toddler I wanted a warm down coat with just a little less length and this one suits me well. I enjoy the pocket placement at the hips, the single chest pocket is nice and big and in the right spot but might like it a little more on the left chest vs the right but it works. I enjoy the little pocket at the left wrist too, where I'd keep a cloth to wipe off my goggles if I was skiing etc. The zip is good, the coverage at the chin is good and the hood is large for a winter hat or helmet on too I'd think.

Nice jacket for skiing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this jacket for snow skiing. It did well at Mt Batchelor during a snow and freezing mist day. Plenty warm, no wind penetration. The cuff seals are a bit tight, but I suppose that is a good thing. The side pockets could be a bit lower and to the side for easier access. Ikon pass worked fine in the sleeve pocket for the scanners. Very waterproof. I would buy this when it was on sale as MSRP seems kinda high.

Would definitely recommend!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sell vehicles in New Mexico and this jackets holds up to our crazy weather. From snow storms, wind, and rain this jacket can hang. Love it so far.
