Noticed that a review for the RIME 1.0 mountain bike shoe was a ?wide? fit. I don?t think that is true. I am currently wearing wide Sidi?s and I was looking for a more walking friendly shoe for hike a bike sections. The shoes look well built with an excellent grippy sole. Length was good, just to narrow for me.

Solid Shoe

Fits true to length, but the width and volume is a bit big. Velcro strap is a nice feature that really secures your foot. Really like how the cleats are recessed so you can walk normal.

the rime 2.0 are more comfortable
I read reviews that said that the main difference is the soles. I think the tongue in the 1.0 is different from the 2.0 too. The rime 2.0 shoes are more comfortable than the 1.0 shoes.

The fit is perfect, minimal flex with solid traction. At under 50 hours and just a little over a month, the sole is falling apart already. There's a newer version with Vibram sole that may perform better than these did. I hope these are flawed and covered under warranty.
