Livewire Shoe
If you're like us, you don't see the point in filling your shoe closet to the brim with a different shoe for every activity. Instead, you're a fan of versatility — you want a shoe that you can toss on to hang out with your crew, or shred down gnarly big-mountain terrain, without sacrificing style, which is why you've got your eye on the Ride Concepts Livewire Shoe. These tough-as-nails kicks offer street style, while featuring serious construction that can handle any trail you throw at them. That's because they're crafted with durable, synthetic uppers with anti-abrasion mesh that hold up to rocks and stray branches, and tacky DST 6.0 rubber that grips your pedals firm to keep your stance solid when the trail gets a little hairy ahead of you. To keep you protected, Ride Concepts builds the Livewire with custom molded toe and heel guards, while a fully gusseted tongue shields you from intake of debris. And because you want to ride in comfort, even when you take a drop to flat, the Livewire shoes are equipped with an EVA midsole to take up some serious shock absorption.

A shoe that fits well and is stable on the pedals. Much better than tennis shoes or hiking boots

Decided to go a full size up after reading tons of internet comments. Dont regret it at all. I normally wear 10's in everything and on a whim decided to get 11's. They fit perfectly. Shoe itself is great.

Watch sizing.

Seem like great shoes. I am a true size 42 but had to return because they were tight around the toe. Maybe half size or full size up.

I grabbed a pair of size 13 Livewires during the sale for $80. At that price, it basically undercuts majority of MTB shoes on the market. Though after some time with these shoes, I can safely say I would pay the full 100 for them. The grip is phenomenal and has made climbing steeps and bombing downhill way more stable. My foot never slips off the pedal anymore. They are also comfortable shoes and do not poke in any part of my foot, no hotspots for me. There is definitely a bit of a break-in period where you may feel some tightness on the toes, but that quickly goes away after 2-3 rides. They seem incredibly durable, and I'm not a light easy going rider. They also offer a pretty great amount of protection. I've banged my shoe against a rock and didn't feel a thing. Would definitely recommend the Livewire to anyone looking for a new MTB shoe.
