A delicious new, to me, flavor
Was pleasantly impressed with this one! Minor problem with the bag sealing after adding water but out there you learn to improvise. Delicious

Delicious
I’ve been taking young men on 50 mile hike for the past 25 year and Mountain House is our favorite. I’ve never been disappointed in the quality and taste.

WOW
Don't buy the other cheaper brands! You pay for what you get. i have tried other brands and Mountain House is superior to most others. I will be buying more in the future.

A little disappointing, but still very edible
Some Mountain House meals are so good that you would eat them at home and be perfectly happy because they're delicious. Others, like this one, taste better the more hungry and cold you are. If you were cold and hungry and some-one offered you this meal, I guarantee you would be overjoyed and deeply grateful. And it would taste delicious. If you're sitting in your nice warm kitchen though, it might just taste acceptable.

Chicken Fried Rice
Great taste, better than some restaurants. A lot of good food for two people to eat. Thanks

Really dang darn good!
This meal is one of the best camp meals which I have ever tasted. The chicken has substance and does not have a hint of that dry cardboardy taste. I eat the whole bag at the end of the long trail-day. It is more than filling. Some powdered soy sauce is a great addition. I have a keychain Sriracha bottle for those times when I need an extra dab of spice. Tip: Use super hot boiling water, I mean really get it boiling. Then, stick to the MH directions. It comes out perfect.

just ok
It finishes up as more of a slurry/liquid texture and not like a drier fried rice. Taste was OK but it needs a good dose of soy sauce for my taste. Take some soy sauce along in your backpack for this one.

Good taste, light weight
I found the meal to be light in weight. It was easy to carry. Also, it had a good taste. The amount of salt was more than I wanted. It would be improved by decreasing the amount of salt. I would purchase the item again.
