Great shoe if you have plantar faciitis

It really does help with foot pain if you have plantar faciitis. This shoe however, makes my feet look so much larger. For long walks like I do, it's best to get a Hoka with more cushion.

Not the best quality

My second time wearing these on the trail, the fabric tore away from the sole. I used some shoe goo to repair them. A couple of weeks later during my 50k race, more fabric started peeling away. I don't think I will be able to run in these again. I only had these for about a month. The Stinson 6, I never had an issue with those.

Unsure

I have worn Bondis in a size 9 for years so I assumed I'd wear the same in the Stinson 7s but unfortunately had to return these for a half size larger. Looking forward to receiving the replacement so I can hit the trails. Wondering if others experienced the same.

Love these!!

I purchased these for every day walking use and they are awesome!! They fit perfectly. They do look rather big but they are very comfortable.

Initially LOVED these! (Hope they break in)

These were amazing at first... but when I actually hit the trail / dirt road with them, inside and back ankle / Achilles tendon area sort of point in almost and really hurt. I am not sure why they are designed this way but I really hope that this part breaks in some how? Not sure how it will since you aren't really pushing on those spots. I loosened the shoestrings at the top to help... it did a little but not sure if ankles that loose is best practice lol

Cute and cushiony, but left muscles tight

To preface, Hoka's Arahi 6 is my holy grail shoe. I can walk for miles and miles and tens-of-thousands of steps in them and feel as comfortable as when I left the house. I've run my pair ragged hiking, trail-walking, city-walking, and with daily wear. I recently decided to get into running, and wanted something with a little more impact cushioning, so I went with the Stinson 7 for looks and the big squishy sole. I LOVE the way these shoes look and the cushion itself is very comfortable, but something about these shoes or the way I balance in them causes a very painful strain in my ankles, calves, and lower hamstrings. Even just in a warmup walk, I notice my muscles cramping right away and running leaves them feeling very tight and injured. This is something I've never experienced from a shoe before. When I switch back into my Arahi 6s or other shoes, the tightness improves or goes away. I went into a local running store and shared this, and got recommended the Gaviota 5s instead. So far the profile feels more like the Arahi 6s but does have slightly better cushioning, and my legs feel great again. If the Arahis or Gaviotas are a great fit for you, I'd steer away from the Stinson 7s for anything other than fashion-wear.

High arch support

I have very high arches and am prone to peroneal tendinitis. These are the first shoes I put on I was able to walk around the theme park all day with my family without pain or fatigue of the muscles. They are my favorite shoes ever! Most shoes are geared towards people with flat feet or less arch than normal so it's very difficult to find something for people with extremely high arches. I was happy to find this shoe I highly recommend it..

I really liked the Hoka Stinson 6

Hoka Stinson 7 has a extended tab at the heel, replacing the lower heel and pull tab. I don't like feature very much. The extra height isn't of any benefit IMHO

Love love but would love an all black

Podiatrist recommended this modem exactly for my foot shape and I've been in Hokas for years. Love them. But his model is only crazy colors. Love my all black styles. Can we get these in all black ?

Not the same fit as it used to be

I ordered these Stinson's excited to get my new shoes, but unfortunately was very disappointed. The shoe doesn't fit anything like they typically do. I have had multiple versions of this shoe and I've been more wearing Hoka for years.
