Why We Like The Chaco Bodhi Sandal
Chaco simplified the shape of their classic and created the Bodhi Sandal. This lightweight, low-profile sandal offers the same stability and performance as the original. The recycled jacquard straps follow a similar pattern of the Z/Sandal, and the toe loop provides the security we love.

Love look/style BUT comfort may be deal-breaker.
HELP. Bought these after seeing them online for over a year and a few folks wearing them in town. I have had a lot of Chacos over the years in many styles but these Bodhis are litertally slicing my second toe and I'm NOT loving them at all. I like the look, style, etc but unless they "break-in" better or there are some tips/tricks how to overcome the toe slice situation, they just won't work. I've never had issues with Z2s and toe loops but seems thee design of how them tug/pull are apples and oranges in comparison. Any suggestions??? I want to love them or at least be able to wear them without bodily harm.

Look Good, Fit Well and Comfortable
These are great sandals; they fit well, look good and are more light weight than my other Chacos.

Lightweight, comfortable, cool
Just an all around great sandal. Working in the yard to out on the lake, it’s comfortable, cool protection for your feet!

Classic
In my opinion, the aesthetic of this sandal far surpasses the traditional Chaco sandal. In fact, I have never purchased a normal Chaco sandal because I despise it's specific configuration from a purely aesthetic standpoint. The Bodhi style sandal is simply classic, like the Greek toga is, though unlike the toga it likely won't ever come into vogue. Practically, it make sense too.

Love my Bodhis
Love, love, love. If the toe strap on the z2 isn’t comfortable for you but you like the look get the Bodhi. So comfortable and because the toe strap is horizontal and not at an angle it’s so much more comfortable. Cute color.

Overall excellent but some areas for improvement
I was skeptical at first because I can't wear Z2's (with toe strap) because they tighten on my toe to the point where it cuts off circulation. The way these straps are configured do not cause that problem and I'm psyched. My absolute fav sandal for long hikes is the Bedrock Cairn and I'd still pick those for hiking bc they're lightweight and have a Vibram sole, but I bought these for the extra cushion and arch support for chill adventures. I am a slightly wide women's 11 but got the men's 9 for the superior color choice, and they fit perfectly. Areas for improvement: the long strap does not lie flat (like other reviewers mentioned) and it's annoying but feels ok once you get it situated. I have a high volume foot for a woman and even with the straps fully loosened I couldn't get my foot in at first. I almost gave up but after adjusting it for like 10 min I realized it accommodated a higher instep if you slide the buckle closer to the toes. Again, not a deal breaker but I don't see why they don't just make a longer buckle strap. Finally, the orientation of the straps and buckle makes it so the buckle loosens as you walk more so than the buckle on the Z's. This wasn't a huge issue for me though since I need to wear them nearly as loose as possible anyways. I still love these and found them equally if not more comfortable and stable/secure as my Z1's. Would be the best sandals ever if: longer strap, more colors, cloud footbed and Vibram sole!

For a mens shoe, this is almost unwearable
Straps are super short. I have to pull them all the way out with zero slac just to get my foot in the shoe. The buckle sits on top of my foot. These are awkward and poorly made. Cute, but i would not buy this style again.

Tough on your feet
Had a pair of Chaso's years ago and loved them, just got back from a trip to the Galapagos and they reccomended an pair of active wet sandals to stay on my feet coming in and out of a zodiac. I figured I would go with Chaco's over a set of Teva's or another. Unfortunately these are really not that practical and I ended up with blisters on my toes and ankles causing me to buy another pair of something different while in the Islands. The rest of my family did ok with their Chaco's but my experience wasn't great so I probably wont buy another pair in the future. This pair will be donated.

The are by far my favorite style of Chacos. They are so light weight but just as durable as my other Chacos. I think I need another pair!!!
