Why We Like The Astral Loyak Water Shoe
The Astral Loyak Water Shoe provides the right mix of grip, flexibility, and durability we need when guiding raft trips or kayaking technical rivers. The stitched Cordura upper is highly abrasion-resistant for durability, yet also breathable and quick-drying. The upper is also attached directly to the rubber outsole for a low-profile fit and enhanced feel underfoot. G.15 rubber helps us maintain our footing on slippery river beds and slick rocks, and flex grooves allow our foot to flex naturally.

Awesome shoe, lightweight, flexible, long lasting!
Bought my first pair almost a year ago to wear in USVI. Love this shoes, lightweight and kept my feet cool as well. I found that I prefer more cushion so I added an insert. Very comfortable with it. In fact, after the trip I kept wearing them almost everyday even during winter when it wasn’t snowing. They still look new! The only thing they can improve are the laces. They become loose after a few hours. Highly recommend!

Fantastic shoes for any occasion
I am on my fourth pair! I wear them almost every day. This past weekend wore them kayaking and on a 10 mile hike that was rated as strenuous. There were multiple water crossings on the hike and I was very glad I had shoes that drained the water within seconds Outstanding shoes for any occasion.

Love this shoe
