Rab Sonic Hoodie

On fresh mornings when a tee won’t cut it, the Sonic Hoody is the only layer you need. With a close-fitting wrap-style hood and excellent articulation, this lightweight, technical baselayer adapts to a range of activities where you need a little more protection but it’s too warm for a midlayer. Breathable Motiv™ Aero fabric with bulk yarn technology responds to your output, effectively wicking away sweat and keeping you dry and comfortable on your fast hikes, mountain runs, and demanding ascents.

Summer use only as extremely light material, neck a little tight but otherwise a useful purchase

I think the name hoody made me expect something slightly weightier/warmer for use in spring/autumn, but it proved very useful as an extra light layer for walking/biking in otherwise very warm weather abroad and packs down to nothing. Fit is mostly very good (size 8) other than the neck hole being a little tight to get your head through. Lovely bright orange colour (red grapefruit). Washes beautifully and dries super fast. Think of it as a very light and breathable T shirt with long sleeves which happens to have a hood, rather than a "hoody". Great for travel.
