Good Anti-theft convertible backpack
The Pacsafe Citysafe CX Anti-theft convertible backpack would earn 5 stars except that, as others have said, the disk through which the strap is threaded to convert the bag to a backpack is not as well thought out as it might be, making this bag uncomfortable for some as a backpack. My priority is comfort as well as functionality, so for me this was a deal-breaker, but it may not be for others. The disk itself and its multi-function and safety aspects are basically very good and attractive, but over hours of travel when not wearing layered clothing, I suspect the disk/strap-threaded area would rub into the upper back. I'm an experienced traveler, and I really, really wanted this bag to work, but I could tell that for me the full backpack would be too uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I have other Pacsafe bags and like the product a lot. This bag had everything I wanted--anti-theft, well made, attractive, minimal, small but roomy, backpack/crossbody/large clutch conversions, good color selections, light-color interior. Many design aspects of this bag are quite good. I also agree with other reviewers that a hook or lanyard for keys would be a good addition.
