Why We Like The Jones Snowboards Flagship Snowboard
The Flagship Snowboard delivers power and precision for charging everything from the jaw-dropping steeps of Valdez to the jagged terrain of Utah's Wasatch Front. Jones Snowboards' unique, glide-friendly design maximizes deep snow buoyancy while creating fluid edge-to-edge transitions. The board's Directional Rocker delivers ample float when your local mountain gets buried with fresh snow but still rails with precision and holds steady on the steepest faces. Especially paired with its boat-hull-like base that gives smooth, flowy turnability when sledding through the backcountry depths.

Wow... Fun Do IT ALL Board
- Familiarity:

I have enjoyed this board on groomers, chop, huge bumps/moguls and nip deep powpow. It is always fun and up for the task. I weigh around 150lbs no gear and 6ft tall riding a 161cm board. At first I was worried this would be a bit of a tall board for me but it turned out to be great for float and charging through the rough with great stability while still maintaining a surfy feel. Ive ridded the Ultracraft 156cm as well which is WAY stiffer and needs speed to open up while the Flagship has been great at a range of speeds, it also can ride switch decently. As other reviews mentioned it loves pow and def floats like a boat haha. I look forward to many seasons on this rig

Freeride Quiver Killer

I've taken this board out 4 times so far in conditions ranging from icy early season groomers to off-piste in 2 feet of fresh pow and I am very impressed with its performance so far. Obviously this board is great at charging hard and fast through just about anything you can throw at it but I was really pleasantly surprised to find that it's also quite maneuverable and playful. What really blew me away about this board is how well it performed in powder, especially with the "float pack" binding setback. I brought my flagship and a volume-shifted pow board out on a big storm day in Utah and the flagship easily out-floated my "pow board" while also doing a better job at maintaining speed and just generally being a more fun and dynamic ride. There are probably better boards out there for you if you're primarily riding groomers or icy east coast type conditions but as far as off-piste snowy conditions go, I don't know if you can do much better than the flagship.
