Excellent all around Bib

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
M

This is my 2nd pair of Foxy Bibs and I wear them in-bounds and out of bounds. I'm 5'9", weigh 145-148 pounds, have longer legs than torso, athletic build and do have hips and a butt. I run cold generally to start and then get overheated quickly if working hard outdoors (skinning in the backcountry), so layering is a skill that I have had to learn and master when doing snow sports. Pluses: -love the fit (not too bulky) and is actually quite attractive (I don't look like Teletubby when just wearing the bib) -Perfect amount of stretch/ flexibility in the fabric for kneeling, squatting, sitting during transitions in the back country or sitting on a lift -Despite having a higher rise over the chest, they are not too warm for skinning and you can take your straps off and let the top portion hang down below your waist if you need supreme venting on warmer backcountry days -Beacon pocket is kangaroo style and ample room for any size device -Additional smaller chest pocket can fit money, ID, CC nicely -Waterproofed thigh zipper pockets (great for storing ChapStick, snacks, passes) -Leg length is good for 32-34" inseam - they never feel too short -accessibility for bathroom use in and outdoors (side zip provides good clearance for undergarments when sitting or squatting)...and yes you have to hold ALL of your pants out of the way to avoid getting anything wet (just like any other bib or garment for females) -Multiple options for venting at legs (Inner and outer thigh zips) -Flylow honors customer service issues and requests (repaired my old pair of bibs - seam taping and sent back redone at no cost to me) Cons: -Highly flexible outer fabric contributes to breakdown of waterproof material lining inside of pants over time (I have gotten cracks in the waterproof material at the crotch of the pants) -Seam taping in crotch region comes undone after a few seasons of wear. Seems that increased moisture in the area causes this to happen, which (sweating while skinning) is somewhat unavoidable -Thinner material requires extra layers on cold days (Particularly in bounds) Overall impression: After researching several other types of bibs (Each with their own list of pros and cons) I went with the ones that I know and truly do love, so bought a second pair of the same bib. Reasons for the 4/5 stars: I would love to say that these are a one bib for all things, but the seam tape issue and thinner fabric leaves me searching for a more heavy duty/ insulated bib or pant for colder days.

Fits great, functions well for CA skiing

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
Small

I am new to snow sports and was searching for a good bib for skiing in California (Mammoth). I have used this bib in 40-60 degree temps and with a solid base layer underneath it, wool socks, and jacket I've been perfectly comfortable. Also, with being new to skiing and taking a few tumbles I've never had problems with staying dry. Aesthetically, I liked the slim fit of the pants and at 5'5 115-120lbs the Small is the perfectly length and fit (though it fits more snug around the hips and waist than I expected).

Flattering fit but not waterproof

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
Medium
Height:
5' 5"
Weight:
145

I’ve owned two pairs of these and used them extensively for multiple seasons while teaching skiing and backcountry skiing in the PNW. I love the fit and style however the waterproofing is not sufficient for heavy use in the PNW wet snow. Pros: Athletic fit, very flattering for a more narrow hip body type, which can be hard to find. I’m between a small and a medium usually and size up to a medium in these. Wonderful weight for layering. Not too hot if worn with light layer in spring touring conditions. Perfect pocket and zipper placement for venting and easy bathroom breaks. Cons: side zipper eventually failed on both pairs, though I did get probably 150+ days on each. Biggest fail is the waterproofing is just not enough for the PNW. The seams leak through within an hour of heavy snow or rain. While this is the case for many shells, there are a few brands that are much more waterproof (Arcteryx and Patagonia) and these do not compare in performance to those in wet conditions.

Wish I could wear them

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I usually wear a large but the Large didn't have much give for movement in the hips and then I got a XL and it was huge on me. I think if you have a more straight frame and not so curvy (or have a momma lower belly) they would be awesome but alas this is not me.

Had to return, too small in the hips

I'm 5'5", 138lbs, and typically wear a medium. I bought a size Medium but had to return it as it was too tight in the hips. I could put them on but they had no give and I wouldn't have had space to move. I'm purchasing a large to see if that will work but am a bit concerned about length.

Not made for curves

Familiarity:

I am 5'4", 135 lbs, size 36 D chest. I have been able to wear a women's medium in the past in Flyblow bibs. These fit tight in my hips and did not fit my chest at all. Flylow has been on of the companies that I have been able to rely on for fit, they usually seem to have women's curves in mind where a lot of companies tend to make everything for snowboarding man-shaped. I was disappointed that these were not made more curve-friendly.

I am a true size 6 and I bought a medium, which is the same size as my previous pair and they are next to impossible to get on. I will be retuning and buying a size large.

Runs small

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I'm 5'5 125 a true 4 athletic but not an athlete. I order medium (please don't forget the size you ordered in the review). I am typically a small but will size up for layers and comfort. The medium felt like the perfect size. It felt more like a size small to me. it wasn't baggy but could fit layers. Unfortunately, I needed to exchange so I don't have any details on use.
