Super light hiking backpack

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this to replace a similar hiking backpack, I just don’t wanted something lighter. It has the right amount of pockets and features for what I was looking for. It is also super light weight so it didn’t make my back hurt like my last one. The straps will dig into your shoulders if you pack it full, not really any worse than any other back pack. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Perfect for day hiking with water, rain gear, flashlights and some other basics in it.

Lightweight School & Travel Bag

I was immediately drawn to this backpack due to the colors and structure. I purchased it in Downtown Salt Lake City where there were several others to choose from which made it more difficult due to its appeal! The rep was very kind and even brought more colors from the back to show me. All in all, it’s a unique, well structured, and light-weight back pack that stands out in a sea of boring colors! I will also be bringing it with me on my travels!

Great backpack with tons of features!

39yo, 5’11” male. I was looking for a fun new backpack for hiking and all around adventures, and I found the Batac 16L to be nearly perfect for my needs. I loved the color scheme being why I chose Cotopaxi in the first place, and all of the compartments are well made. The water bladder/ laptop sleeve doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the backpack which I like especially when I have my laptop in there for added protection. I appreciate the extra pouch inside the main compartment for carrying basic essentials like keys, wallet, and power brick. The secondary compartment is nice and large to carry tall but slender items, I use it mostly for an extra long selfie stick I keep on hand. The elastic pouches on the sides hold most water bottles, although a Nalgene or wider 32/40oz Hydroflasks are a very tight fit and may not be idea for regular use.

Best backpack!

Love this so much!! The only thing I learned the hard way is it not waterproof. But now I know to bring a poncho :) fav backpack for sure.

This is the second Batac 16L that we have purchased. For us, it is the perfect travel backpack/personal item fir flying.

I love love this pack use it all the time, and get lots of compliments. I just bought one for my sister in law. It’s light bright and colorful. I use it everyday.

Lightweight & colorful

Just got my first Cotopaxi Batac backpack after seeing my friend carry one during our Mexico trip. It seemed so easy to travel with and the colors are fun. I had ordered the Batac 24, but I returned it bc ultimately it was too big for how I wanted to use it and looked boxy. I’m about 5’4 and wanted something smaller. The Batac 16 is for me to carry minimal things with plenty of pockets, and be somewhat multifunctional and cute. So when my order came in, I knew it was meant for me instantly. The side pockets don’t fit my hydroflask, but it does fine with the skinny tumblers. I love my Batac 16!

Perfect packable pack

I bought the Batac16l to use as a day pack when traveling with my Cotopaxi Allpa42l, which it is perfect for. It has quickly become my primary day pack. Very light weight, comfortable to wear, and plenty of storage space.
