When we want to move swiftly up and down the trail, we lace up our Adidas Terrex Swift R3 GTX Hiking Shoes and hit the ground hiking. Made for speed, this hybrid combines elements of trail running shoes and hiking shoes to cater to fast hikers with light day packs. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps out water and mud while breathing away evaporated moisture when our feet heat up from hiking fast. Updated for 2023, the Swift now features a fresh look and recycled synthetic uppers as part of Adidas' "End Plastic Waste" initiative to make more responsible shoes.

Fabulous hiking shoes with great orthotic support
Waterproofing is excellent. Perfect for those times you don’t want to wear walking boots but need something waterproof. The inner stays dry when walking through wet grass or puddles, even though the outer gets wet. Good welt means nothing gets through the seams. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these shoes offer good arch support, and the higher heel leads to an excellent walking movement. The ankle support is as good as a boot, meaning there is little ankle roll. They offer a good grip and are very well made. I’m optimistic about their durability and longevity. It felt a little strange moving away from a traditional walking shoe to a pair that looks more like trainers, but I’m so pleased that I did. I’ve never had a pair that are so comfortable, supportive, waterproof, well designed and well made.

Perfect walking companion
