Great for everything for backcountry work, and every day use
I really like it where the filters off regular stuff out plus bacteria and stuff. You need to use it in the backcountry or in your tapwater I really really like it. I’m glad a friend of mine told me about it.

A bit of a squirter
Took my geopress down to Havasupai. While it was great to gather water from the spring when I filled the cup up to the 24oz line I still lost some water and got squirted as I was depressing the filter. Overall it was great to have down in the canyon. The electrolytes drink powder did linger in the bottle, after two refills the flavor had disappeared.

Great trail running water bottle
Really like this hybrid hydration system. The handle made it easy to carry with just a few fingers and the cup is very grippable for trail running. I might need to not overfill the line, because it does squirt as you depress the filter. The vacuum action after you fully depress is a bit sticky, but that just means you need to burp it to release the seal.

I only get 2 weeks to write a review?
Well, Id write a better review but I really haven't gotten the chance to really test it out yet. And, I keep getting emails to write a review. So, it may be a 5 star. It might be a 1 star. I have no idea.

High Quality Equipment
Received quickly, looks durable and decently tough. It’s fantastically simple to use and intuitive. Put water into big bottle, push inner bottle down and then drink filtered water. Simpler to use than iodine or some of the basic life straw systems. It’s good for traveling as well since I go to Central and South America locations where tap water is generally not drinkable without risk.

Works with Snow Peak Titanium
The system is great and I like the titanium option for those who do not own any. The original Snow Peak mini solo (28oz pot and 10oz cup) titanium set fits the 28oz Grayl like they were made for each other. I do not have experience with the current 2.0 mini solo set.

Great purchase
I’ve been using a different water filter for the last 6 months and just got tired of sucking through a straw so the GRAYL works great!
