Why We Like The Freerider Pro Cycling Shoe
We like Five Ten mountain bike shoes for their lightness and toughness that helps us take on our favorite trails. Built with durable, low-profile uppers and an impact-resistant toe box, the Freerider Pro Cycling Shoes are ideal for enduro and all-mountain riding. The sticky Stealth rubber keeps your feet confidently planted on the pedals when you're charging down steep chutes and chunky rock gardens, and the medium-flex construction offers a nice balance between on-bike responsiveness and off-bike comfort.

Never again
Never again, five-ten went to shambles when adidas bought eh brand. I bought this shoes 3 months ago and the soles started to get cracked due to the friction with the pedals. Aren't this shoes designed for this kind off activity. I recommend Ride Concepts for all you riders.

Scores high for fit, function, and style.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit and look. Soles do not slip from flat pedals. Almost like being clipped in but not.

Good shoe but runs narrow in width.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made Mountainbike shoes of good quality which perform well . My only issue is they slightly run on the small size especially regarding width . If you order these you would probably order a half or one size larger if you have wide feet.

Okay to walk on pavement all day.
Wore them all day, eight hours of driving and eleven hours of walking around the Las Vegas Strip. My feet weren't super sore. I'm looking forward to using them on a bike.

Tongue doesn't stay in place.
I'm pretty "meh" about this version. I generally like everything about the shoe. It's super grippy and I love the reinforced toe box. However, the tongue doesn't stay in place. In previous models the shoe's tongue had an additional loop at the top to run the laces though. The new models don't. Now, instead of staying in place, it buries itself into the sides causing the fit to change as I ride; typically making the shoe feel loose. It's unsettling and annoying enough, that I am now shopping for a different brand. PLEASE fix this!
