Rugged and Comfortable
I wear my Chacos around the house, while shopping, or when hiking/fishing. I have a couple of foot issues and achy knees, so finding a comfortable sandal that can take a beating is important to me. Five stars!

Cute but straps not adjustable
So cute but the cross strap is not adjustable and was too tight for my high arches, so I ended up returning unfortunately. Otherwise I would have loved them!

There is a break in period, but it’s worth it
This is my first pair of Chaco shoes and I’m very impressed. I am a special education teacher so I am always on my feet. The first week I wore the shoes I thought I was breaking my feet. They hurt soooo awful in my arches, but then miraculously they are super comfortable now. I switch between my hokas and Chacos now. I’m grateful I didn’t give up on the break in stage.

Blister Central
The inner and outer arch of the heel fit pretty narrowly, and since the material is super hard, you can’t really break them in. I get awful blisters when I wear them for more than a mile. From trying them on in the store, I didn’t think I’d need a wide, but they’re very uncomfortable after wearing for a while.

Scratchy Strap Material - Disappointing
The strap material of the Z1 was very scratchy compared with the smoothness of my previous pairs’ straps. Though the design was really cute, I didn’t foresee breaking them in so I returned them. I was sad to do this bc it would have been my first toe-strap-less pair and I liked the fit of them. Just couldn’t get over the uncomfortable feeling of the strap material (primary color design).
