Long standing Ghost fan
Similar fit to original Ghost but lighter and rocking mechanism makes for improved fore to rear foot transition. Been wearing Ghost shoes for over 8 years and these are best yet

Best for burdened feet
Heavenly cushioning. I’m now on my fourth Max (hot pink, ebony, white, and now beige) because my worn-out feet will now tolerate nothing less. I have flat arches, wide width, bunions, bunionettes, and healed torn plantar plates, I walk everywhere and I’m a physical therapist who is on her feet all day. I am not a runner but my feet go through a beating every day, so my shoes wear out quickly. I really love the cushioning Max has, and I returned all my Hokas for these. I wish Brooks would make more fun colors for wide widths though, it’s always the safe colors for us.

Great Walking Shoe
Super shoe. I use for walking outdoors and at the gym. Very comfortable and supportive. I walk a lot and this is my second pair after wearing out my first pair!

Ever since I switched to Brooks I haven't gone with any other shoe. I have been working in the Pet Care industry for 9 years now, mostly dog walking and the Brooks are just what my feet need! I was so excited to try out these new Brooks Max since they had the added cushion for my feet but was sad because the fabric on the top of the shoe has already started to get a hole in it. Normally these shoes are so well built that they last me for a year before I have to replace them but I've only had these for a few months and will have to replace them here soon. It is a bit unfortunate for the cost of the shoe

For me, it was too much padding. I felt unbalanced and not stable.

Amazing!
Another take on the Ghost Max: A former runner for many years (3-6 miles/day) who also embraced high-impact aerobics and often wore Brooks, I'm now in my '70s and this shoe is FANTASTIC for me today! It was suggested by a local store and it fulfills my everyday needs. I practice Tai Chi, walk on my treadmill, and go for moderate hikes - not on pavement. I have back, hip and pronation issues and when I wear them am very comfortable. Suggestion: All the wild colors may be desirable for many, but some choices in navy-blue or deep gray with green or white/gray accents would be welcome.

I've been wearing Ghost for years. I decided to try the Ghost Max and I'm so glad I did. I will be buying a second pair soon. They are very comfortable.

Ahhh Feet feel good after 8 house walking.
I love them. I have RA and my feet hurt all the time. I work standing and walking 8-9 hours a day and with these shoes my feet still feel good by the end of the day. Thanks. I highly recommend if you need cushioning.

Better than my Hokas
I had been wearing Hokas for my morning walks of two-plus miles approximately five times a week. In my opinion, the Ghost Max has been more comfortable and I am very happy with them.
