Too big
I picked the size as recommended but now the boots are too big and I’d have to pay to return them. I had to check to make sure maybe men’s boots weren’t accidentally sent instead because they were that large.

Very uncomfortable
I had a a pair of Sorel boots that I wore for years and loved. This pair are extremely uncomfortable. They caused bad blisters on my ankles after wearing for a short time and can't be worn again.

Warm and comfy
I’ve been searching for a really warm boot as we have been having 40-50 below wind chills this week! I love the style of the Winter Carnival, and I tried on several sizes in a store but every size I tried, fit my foot but they all slipped on my heel a lot. My daughter tried a pair in her size and the same thing happened. It seems this is some kind of defect in the way that particular style is made. I ended up buying a pair of the Snow Angels and they are very comfortable and have kept my toes warm, however, I still like the style of Winter Carnival better!

Horribly painful
I had high hopes for these boots, but unfortunately they turned out to be quite uncomfortable. With the first use,the back creased to fold inward and rubbed on my achilles area despite wearing tall socks. I had awful blisters by the end of the first walk with them. They're basically unusable. I wish I could return them.

Warm boot
The pros: They do keep your feet warm and are pretty comfortable (other than the con below). I bought these last fall and have not experienced what others have been saying about the boot digging into my ankles. I rarely wear short socks with these though so that may make a difference? The cons: They are very heavy and almost a little difficult to walk in because of that fact. I bought an 8 (normally between a 7.5-8 depending on the shoe) and they do fit fine with normal thickness socks on. They are snuck if I put on thicker socks. Although I do like these boots and will not be getting rid of them, I will be trying to find something lighter for regular use in the winter

Not geart
Ummm they just don’t make these like they used to. I was replacing an old pair my puppy chewed up. New version, not great. Returned them immediately.

Stylish winter boots
Nice boots, though I haven’t walked outside in the snow yet. They fit true to size for me. I’m usually a 10 and for sure the 9.5 was too tight where the upper meets the rubber part of the boot.

Perfect boots!
Comfort, reliability, and style. These boots are tall enough to keep the snow out, yet still comfortable enough to drive in. Luckily I bought them just before snowmaggedon 2023 in California, and they were perfect.

Horrible and painful structure for a boot
These boots are definitely defective. I went on a 30 minute walk in them and half way through I didn’t think I was going to make it back home wearing them. The structure in the ankle digs into you and rubs while walking and it hurts very bad! The next day the sores were very painful and bleeding. Obviously I won’t be wearing these again! Reading other reviews this is a very common problem. Definitely not what I was expecting from a brand like Sorel.
