I will continue to purchase HOKA
This is the second pair I bought, so lite feels like nothing on my feet. I have a high in step and can wear all day and my back doesn't hurt! Definitely will continue with Hoka brand.

Not a fan of this style
This is my 7th pair of HOKAs. And my least favorite. They are ill fitting. Historically I've always purchased a size 8 and have never had an issue. This style runs large and is not comfortable. The tongue is weird and I just don't like the look of them. I love all my other pairs but these fell short. The main reason for purchasing this style is because they are the only red pair I could find. This disappointment will not influence my love for this brand in fact I plan to get another pair this weekend.

Nope! Nope! Nope!
The Challenger 7 GTX has my feet burning and hurting so bad. My job requires me to walk most of my 10 hour shift and these sneakers have my feet hurting after my shift. I only worn them to work one day and never put them back on.

I would definitely buy Hoka again
Love Love love love these sneakers. They are very comfortable, and colors are great to wear my scrubs.

Too Roomy in Toe Area
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 9
These are pretty great comfort-wise and the waterproof aspect is key for me, but they run huge and I cannot return them as I have used them a few times. I was too excited to receive them that I wore them against my better judgement. The toe box is giant and I have a pretty wide foot. I should have gone with my favorite brand La Sportiva, but I wanted to try these for the GoreTex aspect. I wear a 9 in all shoes, not just the notoriously slim La Sportivas, so I was surprised at this. The front is almost buckled as they are too large. Coupled with the sole being thick, as I expected from this brand, as well as me dumbly choosing the red color, they kinda look like clown shoes. They work, but I don't love them and will likely not buy Hokas again. Seems like even if you size down, the toe box will always be too giant.

Not a deep shoe.
If you take out their insoles and use your own insoles the shoe won't hit you in the right places . Most of hokas shoes are like this now. :( they need to have more depth . My foot is narrow and I normally size up due to long distance hiking . Only tolerated if I wear paper thin socks which I hate because a light cushion is better for blisters but then show is too tight . I love hoka kahas . I hope this shoe gets better cushioning. Shoe Says max but more like balanced . Also very narrow toe box. Fits like a dress shoe with high heels and have to wear panty hose in order to get the shoe to sit where it's supposed to.

Product didn't last long enough..
I don't know why the inside of the shoes started to reap around the ankle on the sides .

Great for Road to Trail walking
After trying a few different models, and returning them, I am keeping the Challenger 7 GTX. I am a big fan of the Arahi 6, no longer available. The Challengers are more stiff, with some trail treads on the soles. The colors are bright and I like them, the cushioning is good for my feet (I have arthritis and a flat arch), and they fit true to size. The toe box is roomier than I expected. I do about 75% of my walking on sidewalks or paved trails, with 25% in the woods on non paved trails. So far, so good. The shoes feel stable and supportive. I'm keeping an eye on the quality of these shoes, as some reviews mentioned the poor workmanship and "cheapness" of the shoes. Again, great shoes for hybrid walkers.
