Painful and expensive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No vision in soles, ankle support/neoprene sock is very uncomfortable for me. This shoe my be great for others, but I find it quite uncomfortable.

Narrow
The inner sock is super narrow and the over all show is so narrow I could not get my foot IN the shoe. Had to send them back. Was looking forward to these for the ankle support and protection. Too bad!

Great supportive design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only one long ride with these so far but after a bit of break in they felt great. They stick to the pedals like Velcro! The soles have the right amount stiffness to feel supportive on the pedals. Plenty of grip for the hike-a-bike moments. I can't speak to durability yet but I can't wait to put a ton of rides on these.

Good selection for moderately difficult cycling.
good snug but comfortable fit. A little hard to get into with sock liner, but sock holds the shoe firmly in place.

Well made and comfy shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have winter here in the PNW. Not like Chicago. We do have occasional 6 degree mornings, I started a ride last year at 19 degrees. Some snow. I’m using these shoes and they are comfy, make good contact with the pedals and are comfy. I can walk in them. I have to be careful where I put my feet because they do not slide around and can put pressure on my knees. Try them

Ideal biking+hiking shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the ideal hybrid shoes for bike riding and walking on rugged terrain. Your feet are heavily protected by the armor on the toes and ankles from the typical injuries from either activity, and the firm soles keep the majority of your cycling efficiency while allowing enough flexibility to walk normally. The front loop strap broke off of one pair that I had, so avoid pulling it. It's otherwise a well built, rugged pair of shoes. Replacement elastic shoelaces strongly recommended.
