A great upgrade to your water gear!
Preparing to guide paddle boarding trips this summer, I am stoked to have upgraded my PFD to the Astral YTV 2.0. Despite snowy conditions, I was able to get a good amount of time testing the PFD, despite the snow, and it turns out that it is surprisingly warm, showcasing its insulation properties perfect for cold Rocky Mountain waters. Its intuitive design and snug fit impressed me, offering comfort and mobility crucial for guiding. The expanded pockets and recycled shell further enhance its appeal. Overall, I believe that the Astral YTV 2.0 is an excellent choice for avid water sport enthusiasts seeking both comfort and performance in their gear.

Great low profile jacket
I bought this jacket for river surfing and it has been great. Super low profile compared to my palm jacket. Very comfortable. Two pockets that fit a knife, granola bar and my chapstick plus room for more. I am 5 ft 7, 135 lbs size A cup and the small medium fits just on. If I was any smaller it would probably be too big over my wet suit

Rides up when swimming
Previously, we had a lotus life jacket for white water rafting and kayaking. After close to 20 years, our jackets were pretty wore out. The YTV was the closest we could find to our beloved lotus and I had high hopes. The quality is good, the colors are great, it's comfortable for this big busted female while paddling a raft, BUT, it rides up when swimming. It doesn’t matter how much I tighten it, it comes up to push on the back of my head and under my chin. Same with my husband and he refuses to wear his. I am a true XL and bought the L/XL but probably could have went down a size. Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the riding up.

Low Profile Bliss
This is my favourite PFD for so many applications, I use it for SUP fishing, Rowing, Freestyle whitewater Kayaking and general boating. You literally forget you're wearing it.

I love this PFD!
I absolutely love this PFD. I wanted to find a PFD that was comfortable and something I would actually wear while kayaking since I am normally kayaking alone. I ordered this and a NRS Ninja. This PFD was lower profile and overall more comfortable. For reference I am 57, 200lbs, size 16/18 womens pants, size XL mens tshirts. I am not curvy or big chested so I cant comment on how it would work for a large chested woman. I actually had a single mastectomy without recon in 2017 due to breast cancer so I needed something that would not rub or irritate my chest area due to nerve damage. Overall this PFD is amazing and I do not regret the purchase whatsoever. I actually considered buying a back up in case something was every to happen to my current on. Thanks for making such a great product.

Best PFD i've ever used
I've been using this pfd for a little bit over 3 years now and I still love it. I love it because it is very low profile and comfortable. it provides enough storage to carry a few granola bars which I find very helpful, and it does not get in the way at all

I actually wear it!
I have always had a life vest with me while paddle boarding and never really used it, until I purchased this vest! I can wear it all day and not even realize i have it on. There is no arm chafe going on, it adjusts easily and has a couple small pockets to store a koozie and bottle opener for refreshments :)

Great PFD!
Was in the market for a replacement jacket after my Lotus Designs Lowrider finally gave out, and this PFD was just what i was looking for. Super minimal and out of the way, just the way a paddling jacket should be. Perfect fit and float!
