Not bad, need more time to get to know them
Purchased on sale a few weeks ago. I’ve been stomping around for a bit. I have a pair of quest mids going strong 7 years. And they are awesome. These ultras run a little long. Maybe a half size or so by direct comparison with the other Salomon sneakers and boots I have. I don’t know for sure until they are broken in and I log a long hike but they feel nice enough. I Always buy sale colors and these ones I would buy again over all black.

Poor quality, not waterproof
I bought these less than a month ago and one of the shoes is already leaking water into my left toe area from just rain. Not worth the cost. Extremely disappointed in quality and durability for the price.

All day comfort
Been wearing Vasque but thought I’d try them. Size is pure. Foot bed and arch contour is better. Softer grippy sole gave me confidence to climb some Arkansas terrain I hadn’t done in 4 years. I appreciate the continuity from the sole to the upper. I can tighten or relax lacing and boot holds desired shape. Going thru gravel river beds was no problem and remained dry. There’s attention to details ( laces, eyelets, front toe, lightweight ) I appreciate. Still pretty new for me, but great first impression so far!

What an awesome shoe/boot. Fits like a foot glove. I like the way it wraps securely around the foot. Water proof, grips the ground, light, and super comfortable. Oh wait... They look good too. Especially on me!!

Loved them for years!!!
I can’t say enough about these boots! I bought my first pair (the older versions) back in 2012 and finally wore them out after 7 years. I live & play in the Pacific NW, and we get all 4 seasons here, with plenty of rain. I wear these boots as my everyday, and never worry about my feet getting cold or wet by stepping in parking lot puddles, or get around in wet grass, or walking through a few inches of rain where ever I am. I also don’t worry about my feet getting hot during the sunny season hikes, as these boots breath nice! I love how these boots wear like a light-weight trainer or basketball shoe that you can run in, and not a clunky, hard to break in, heavy hiker that hurt your feet after a full day of pounding trails. In fact, I love the function and feel of them so much, I stopped buying hunting boots all together, and started wearing these as my go-to archery hunting boot. I buy 2 pair at a time, and cycle through them with a pair of Salomon running shoes, to keep things fresh, and not have to look to buy new shoes for a solid 4-5 years. I highly recommend these to anyone that is active and looking for protection from the elements.

Love them but…..
Love these shoes but this pair is killing my ankles. Right above the ankle bone the top of the shoes love to jam right into the ankle at sone angle as my foot steps. I hope after a few more hikes it loosens up and goes away.

Absolutely awful
Had these less than 12 months with light walking and hiking. within a few months, theuppers split, meaning they let water in. Then the sole completely detached after less than a year. Really bad quality.
