To Tigh
Salomon should take in count than exist people with wide feets, like you have for 3D model and Speedcross a wide option also you should made an option wide for ultra distances

Too wide sole
Optically they are too wide and I’m changing my gait. Not sure why they need to look so wide. I find I’m inverting because of this, please make the sole optically thinner. Normal laces are good and quicker and simpler to adjust then the quicklace

Good but not Speedgoats
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
I was really hoping these were going to replace my Speedgoats. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a replacement brand. First off, the outer welded plastic band on the inside of my right foot creates a friction point as you can feel it through the fabric. I bought a second pair before I wore these and promptly returned those. Unfortunately, I was unable to return these. I put a piece of KT tape on the inside to hopefully soften the area. It did help, but after a 26 miles rugged trail, my feet were wrecked. Fatigue and just overall hurting. Not sure how to describe it other than these are are not Speedgoats or even close. Less padding in the ball of foot and less traction. I almost ate it several times when the shoes slipped out from under me on few wet rocks. I’ll put them in my rotation, but like Altra Olympus… they won’t be my go too for long runs and ultras.

Just got these in hand and fit is great and really comfortable. Really good cushion and fit is better than other soloman's. I sized up a .5 size to accomidate swelling over long runs and is great!

Comfy, fit well, good traction, poor breathability
I have an Altra-shaped foot but I need a sneaker with drop, so I tried these. Surprisingly, these are wide enough for my feet. They are very comfy and soft, have a great traction on trails, and fit well. However, they do not breathe well at all. My feet were pretty soaked with sweat. When I wear my Brooks or Altras on the same trail and same temperature outside, my feet do not get as wet since they have better breathability. Also... the squeak! Like lots of other reviews have mentioned, my right sneaker SQUEAKS! I even took a video of it as evidence. The pic I attached is from the video. I've never had a sneaker that squeaked in my entire life - not sure how Salomon managed to accomplish this! I may return them - I cannot listen to the squeak for miles and miles on end.

better than i thought but!
Had the squeak to begin with which actually helped keep me awake during a 24 hour run. really comfy, good fit (not as narrow as sense ride) and very stable for the stack height. My olny disappointment which means i wont buy this again is that some of the lugs have worn down in the stangest of places after just 250 miles.

I purchased these because I had seen them before and liked the description. Then I saw them on sale. Fortunately for me there were no squeaks upon wearing them. The 9.5 fit me very well. I have somewhat of a small volume foot, slightly different sized, and often need to buy two sizes to get an accurate/usable fit. I suppose the extra cushioning made up for this and formed to my feet. I also like that the cleats on the shoe are short to moderate so they work great for every day use. I hope that Salomon keeps the factory going and continues this line.

The squeak is a real thing.
My left shoe makes a squeak every step. I can’t I hear it. Terrible for a shoe this costly. Can I return them?
