Lightweight and extremely loose
I mistakenly thought these were flannel, which they are not. They’re a lightweight cotton blend that might be okay in the spring, but would need some layers to be comfortable in the fall (which was disappointing since the colors I ordered, darkest dawn and ridgeline are much better suited for fall). I would not describe the fit as standard at all; they are very loose, especially through the waist. In my case, 11” to spare (I’m 5’6”, 135lb and ordered a medium) and that much loose fabric is uncomfortable and would easily get caught in the straps of a backpack. Arms and torso length are perfect, so it’s not a sizing issue. The quality seems good otherwise.

Nice Quality
This is not a heavy flannel but it is soft and warm. It has extra material under the arms, near the chest, still maintaining a slim relaxed fit. I'm thinking this will be a great climbing shirt. I've ordered Mountain Hardwear in the past and have always ordered small, always fit me nicely. I had to return and reorder this shirt in xsmall. I'm 5'2, 125lbs, athletic build.

Cozy shirt
I love the feel and the length of this shirt! It’s lighter in weight and cozy feeling. Definitely can be dressed up or down, I’ll probably get another :)
