Night sky?
Great fit, comfort, and features. I don't know what the sky looks like where these are made, but these shoes are purple. Fluorescent light, incandescent light, daylight...purple.

Returning
I'll be returning this pair. These are the most narrow Hoka shoes purchased. I wear a 7.5 medium in several other pair, these are short and narrow.

i would buy again
I had full reconstructions of ankle and foot.DR recommended hiking boots after walking boot. Got hiking boots but decided to check HOKA as DR recommended. so comfortable and great support while still have bones healing. DR Loved them on my 1st non boot visit. he was blown away and making notes for other patients. Due to some swelling got half size bigger but they are very comfortable compared to the actual hiking boot. getting another pair,

SIZE UP
I have a perfectly pair of boot in my true size that truly rub small so I will have to purchase a new pair and figure out what to do with the pair I have only tried to wear to work for a week. Although I would recommend I also recommend you size up. We live and we learn. Well other 220 must be spent.

perfect fit
I'm loving how these shoes provide stability to the ankles while still being lightweight and having a decently roomy toe box. The larger sole adds to the stability, and they fit perfectly-I wear a standard size 8. I also use removable lifts for arch support. I usually hike a few miles on moderate terrain. However, I do have some concerns about the durability of the blown rubber in the middle of the sole.

Love Love Love Hoka
I use Hiking Hoka boots and also everyday use for work tennis shoes. It's my 3rd pair I wouldn't change them for the world as my hiking brand. I got all my fellow hiking buddies in to them, now we all wear them. Comfort & spacious shoe is Hoka. O... I just bought my husband some hiking boots also and he loved them. He taught they were going to be to heavy and No. He loved them as well.

Need to order a whole size up!
I ordered a half size up from my regular size of 7-1/2 B to allow for heavier socks and foot swelling after a day of hiking. The size 8 B was right at the end of my toes while wearing thin socks. The insole of the shoe did not feel as supportive and comfortable as Trail Code GTX. Loved the beautiful blue color!

Need a different lace set up
Shoes are cushioned, large on me for an 8 and 8s usually fit perfect, the lace set up makes it very difficult to tie tight enough as i have very narrow feet. If i could find these in a store i would have liked to see what a 7.5 feels like

Love the boots BUT
very comfortable but they broke the second hike I went on such is very disappointing. They are so comfortable and then the metal lace area broke off and now stab my ankle and I didn't know the policy was a year long but figured I'd call to see if I could at least just get them fixed and they said no I'm 5 days passed my year I'm so upset I don't think I will purchase any other items again bad customer service unfortunately

I wanted to love these
These boots are very lightweight and that is my favorite aspect about them! They are comfortable space wise and not too narrow or wide, I was able to wear wool socks and hike several miles a day in Canada. HOWEVER, the metal that holds the shoelaces hits directly on my ankles and was so so so painful. There were days I would pile on bandaids and double up socks to try and keep my ankles from feeling like they were being stabbed. By the end of my trip, my inner ankles were bruised and had small cuts from the friction. Almost a year later, there are scars. I love everything about these except how painful the inner ankle area is. I cannot believe no one noticed or felt that during the design/QA/QC process.
