Love it.
I have the FR 965, as my primary focus is running. But I felt that although as a sports watch it is great, it it couldn’t dress up when not doing sports. The epix Pro 51mm gives me everything the 965 does and still looks like a nice watch on your wrist after the run. Paired with the leather watch band this watch looks rugged , with the coyote or ranger green nylon band and you have a military look. The battery is lasting me about 18 days( I play music from the watch on my runs, always on display). The only thing I would change is the Ui. The 965 has a “ newer “ look. The fonts and colors are more modern. Maybe they can fix that in an update. But even if not, I still would go epix pro over 965

The Cadillac of Fitness Watches
This is my first fitness watch and I could not be happier. I had my eye on a Fenix series watch for some six (6) years. But, Epix came along and threw me for a loop. After hours of research, the consensus was Epix > Fenix. So I went for it and I'm so glad I did. I now have an astounding amount of insight into my workouts and I am super motivated to do and try more activities. Not to mention a snazzy customizable watch face that I can change to match my outfits or outing. It's helped me put my phone down and simply do more. Then I get to geek out looking at all the metrics after doing it. If you're on the fence, or it's your first smart watch, go for it.

EXCELLENT
I’ve had this for over two weeks and am very pleased with the features, battery life, durability, appearance and overall quality of the watch. Had a Fenix 6, went to an AWU for about a year and a half and came back to Garmin because of the Epix Pro Gen 2! Extremely happy with the decision!

Love the watch, slow to upload
Coming from a Forerunner 945, I love the AMOLED display, it’s bright and beautiful. I also like the ECG feature, it’s what drew me to this model in particular. Battery life is good, maybe about as long as my 945 was getting. I’m currently charging it once in a week and a half, so 10-12 days or so. I know there are things I could do to extend that, but I’m ok with that. The only issue I’m having is it uploading my activities into the Garmin Connect app. Sometimes it takes two or three times of me hitting the sync button for it to upload. I’m not sure if that’s the watch or a bug in the app.

So far so GREAT!!!
Still figuring out all the functions that the Epix Pro has that my Fenix 5 did not. Love the light and the display is so clear and bright. The touch screen makes a huge difference in ease and ability to scroll through data and the maps are so much more interactive. SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!!

Amazing watch
I left the Garmin ecosystem for an Apple Watch Ultra about 2 years ago. Now I’m back with a Garmin Epix Pro and it is amazing. You just can’t compete with Garmins sport tracking features. It is light years ahead of it’s competitors.
