Best trail runner underfoot but toe box is narrow.

Extremely responsive and springy under foot. Best trail runner I’ve tried by far. The only issue I had with the shoe is that the toe box is more on the narrow side, and rubbed my pinky toe raw after 3 miles. Other than that though it’s fun and fast ride.

Game Changer!

Probably the best running shoes I’ve ever worn from road and trail. So comfy and quick at the same time. Really was an unexpected awesome experience!

Hard & uncomfortable running on flat surfaces

This shoe has a hard padding in the center for impact , good for uphill , steep running. Good traction for rocky trails. Love the color and look. The back heel is lowered. The front has upward curve to it. The fit was a bit big , I would got a half size smaller. After trying to break them in walking for the 3 days on flat surfaces the shoe feels hard , uncomfortable. When landing feet down the shoe curves a bit inward. On uphill and steep surfaces this shoe provides great traction and middle padding I believe is designed to reduce hard rock/root impacts. I was very surprised that the shoes were just hard and uncomfortable to just walk/run flat surfaces. I thought they were going to be good for both flat and uphill surfaces .

Great shoe on less techy trails. Plenty of spring

Sizing definitely feels on the larger end compared to my other Adidas shoes. Maybe size half size down if you're not doing ultras in them but will be good if you're going 50 mile plus to accommodate for swelling. Tread doesn't get in the way on road to trail runs either. Highly recommended overall.

Feels like a true trail super shoe, the extreme rocker takes some time to get used to but once you do, this shoe is awesome. There is a break in period, but after the shoe seems to soften up. I usually wear a 10.5 but sized down to a 10 and it fits perfect.

High performing trail shoe

Used these fresh out the box for the Yorkshire 3 peaks race. The comfort and grip was perfect for the 24 miles across mainly packed trail and rocky sections. They also performed great on the grass sections with no slips. You can really move quick in these and they are super lightweight. I was a bit concerned as I have wide feet and the fit is snug at the widest point of my foot but I had no rubbing during the race. I'm also a fan of the adios pro 3 road shoes and the fit is similar with a bit more room in this shoe. Recommended

Is the hype true?

I’ve had the shoes for a week and done just over 60km in them. First thing they run big, go down half a size. Two I did an indoor track run to break them in they suck in that environment. Next a trail run on gravel didn’t like them there. This weekend ran 42km of technical single track, this is where the shoe shines. They’re fast down hill but suffer from some stability issues in the heel, as it’s very narrow. The fit is big toe box narrow from mid foot to heel. I suffered no blisters during break in. I’d recommend them for 50km or less due to the minor stability issue. The shoe sole doesn’t fold over but if you heel land it’s a little unstable . I had to tie the shoe really tight compared to other shoe's. Once the shoes are tight they feel like part of your foot. They put a ton of pressure on your arch not in a bad way. If you get sore heels these should be ideal for you as the shoe feels as if there is no heel. Finally there an excellent shoe but I’d like them for shorter distances. Also they feel like no other shoe I have tried because of the rocker, but an addicting feeling once use to it. Oh last thing I consider them very cushioned which I like, and definitely recommend them. Maybe after more time as my body gets use to the extreme fit compared to other shoes I recommend them for long distance.

A Supershoe for the trails!!

Having used Adidas Adizero shoes as my ‘go to’ for road running over the last few years, including marathons and Ironmans….. when I heard of these trail shoes coming out, I was more than a little excited! And they don’t disappoint!…. In fact, they’re even better on roads than a lot of competitors! But that’s not the environment they were designed for, despite feeling at home there! In the trails, they’re snappy, grippy, offer great feedback and comfort, all whilst looking amazing! Can you tell I’m a fan? My local trail has 3k of road leading to it and these shoes were perfect for every step of the loop! Adidas are killing it with their running lineup at the moment! Exciting times!!

Best trail racer on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best plated trail running performance shoe out there - and frankly, it performs better than many manufacturers plated road options. Unreal mid-foot lockdown, brilliant sawtooth lacing, agressive rocker profile allowing you to bomb downhills with impunity. Outstanding shoe, runs true to size.
