Why We Like The HOKA Arahi 7 Running Shoe
Now equipped to lock in our fit, the HOKA Arahi 7 Running Shoe keeps our foot perfectly positioned over its ultralight, ultra-cushy platform. The new flat-knit upper is strategically looped to give our midfoot a supportive hug when laced in, while the improved, cushier tongue eliminates pressure points and its dual gussets prevent migration. Just like its predecessors, this pair features HOKA's J-Frame technology that gives us the touch of stability we need without feeling heavy or clunky.

I dislike the color
I expected it to be more blue -- it is very purple. I will be exchanging it for another color.

My feet are crying in pain.
I have been trying to find a good walking shoe, and have heard so many recommendations for HOKA. I finally bit the bullet and spent the money and I'm so disappointed! They seem to fit but the first walk and I was in so much pain. Tried to push through and walked in them three days in a row before giving up. I wanted to love them so much.

Absolutely love shoes!
I originally tried the Hoka Bondi 8, but felt like I was tripping over my feet as they were so big. These Arahi 7 are perfect in every way- fit my feet like a glove- no issues at all, comfortable for walking, and love the color! One of the best shoes I've ever owned!

Surprised! Arahi 7 is first size 8 too SMALL
I have bought MANY different Hokas Mach X, Mach 6, Cliftons and Bondi's, Kawana, Skyward X and they are always size 8 and fit beautiful/perfect. This is the first Hoka shoe that does not fit. My mom got an older style of Arahi that she loves, so i thought I would give it a try to buy for her, she and I wear the same size 8 in Hoka. This particular shoe runs MUCH narrow . I never had previously purchased wides in any Hoka, nor had to buy size 8.5. I just recently bought several different new pairs for both she and I so our foot is the same , the shoe is just smaller and or more narrow because the toe is very close to the front of shoe. I had already ordered the next size up 8.5 to see if it will work or will have to return it. They unfortunately do not have wides in that particular color so that is not an option.

Doesnt hold a candle to its predecessor.
Ive had injury after injury that ive never had running in these, i wish i could return them but i kept giving them another shot. They arent even responsive, theyre just HARD. My gait always feels off, my feet kill, and i wasted my money. Im currently doing ALL my runs road and trail in Stinsons. I wanted to love these but theyre honestly trash.

Great for Plantar Fasciitis
These were recommended first by my podiatrist and then by the sales associate at a runner's store. These and the Gaviota are, to me, the best shoes for walking, training and everyday wear when you have plantar fasciitis and tendinitis. They are tight in the right places and soft and open around the toe area. They don't hurt in the back at all. I usually have this problem with all shoes. Get fitted correctly at a runner's store, and you will see these shoes come up a lot. They have so many amazing colors, but the all white looks beautiful and clean.

Arahi 7
I had to buy these shoes, because Hoka ruined the design of the Gaviota style. I have worn at least 100 pair of the Gaviota Style from style #1- almost every day since the #1"s came out. I changed them out once a month. The new Gaviota Style is a disaster. They look, and feel, like clown shoes. They widened the toe to make every shoe a wide shoe - even if you do not want wide shoes. They are a trip hazard. They ruined the design of the perfect shoe. It is worse than New Coke. I bought the Arahi 7 as a substitute, and they have ruined all of my socks. They are not as comfortable as the previous Gaviota Style, and they ruin your socks. All of my socks have turned black and purple. So, if you need stability shoes, that don't cause you to trip - you could to buy these, just be prepared to replace all of your socks. They are stable, and they do not cause you to trip - like the new Gaviota style. Hoka - you ruined the perfect shoe when you redesigned the Gaviota. We are in shock over your decision. Please return them to the original fit, and style. Thank you.

Finally, no foot pain
My foot doctor recommended that I try Hoka. Been wearing the Arahi for about a month. No pain anywhere on my feet when I wear them. Wanting to get more colors.

Like walking on clouds
This is my first pair of Hokas and I have been missing out! It's like walking in clouds without the feeling of the sole being too squishy. I am typically a 5 in shoes and had to exchange for a 5.5

Mixed Experience
I ordered my Arahi 7s directly from Hoka's website. Initially I received a used and damaged pair. Customer Service was very helpful in getting a replacement pair shipped to me but the experience was aggravating. When I finally received the new sneakers I was happy with the fit and support. I have not had them long enough to really provide an experienced judgement but so far so good. Heads up: They do run small but if you do the Size quiz on the website the answer given is accurate.
