Versatile and attracrive
So far I am impressed with the 42 L pack. I bought it for a carry on. It holds a lot. There are lots of compartments. I like that I can remove the waist straps, keeping it simple for throwing in the overhead bin on the plane. The material looks very high quality.

Like!
Really like the anti theft zipper design, color coded zippers, packing compartments, and traditional suitcase opening. It is very big (plus and minus) and the rubbery front seems to attract dust as it was already dusty straight from the factory - I'm sure travel will make it really gross. I also put it on without anything in it and wearing a tanktop and the straps were quite rough. Will definitely need to wear a full shirt under it or I'm afraid it will tear up my skin. Overall, seems good, but will update after our 3 week European country hop.

Absolute BEST Carry-On Bag Ever!
One night I went down a rabbit hole researching for the perfect carry-on. Another brand to remain nameless had changed the style of their carry-on which I originally was going to purchase, and I did not like the changes. So, there I was, 3 hours into reviewing every possible adventure carry-on out in the market today... And I found the Cotopaxi Allpa 42L carry-on! After hours of looking at all the other possibilities, THIS was the ONE! And when I received it, it was even better than I could have imagined! It is obvious a lot of time and attention went into the designing of this adventure carry-on. They've created easy access pockets on the outside with lots of little stash pockets and a mesh zipper pocket on the inside for things like your wallet/ID, chapstick, tissues, headphones, etc. And the inside! Fantastic compartmented design! I love how they've separated the different spaces on the inside for clothing, shoes, dirty clothes, etc. And that's not all! In addition to all this, they've created space on the backside for your laptop and charging cords. The padding on the back and the straps and waist belt are crazy comfortable! I love this bag SO much, I bought one for my husband and I bought another Allpa for me in the 35L size for shorter trips. I can't say enough good things about this adventure carry-on. I have zero complaints, and I am an Enneagram 1, if you know, you know. I can't recommend the Cotopaxi Allpa 42L enough!

So many compartments!
Bought this for upcoming international travel. Will use it as my carryon (if not stuffed completely full). I was drawn to the many pockets and compartments as I have 4 young children traveling with me and need a place for alllll the things. This is the bag! It will serve as my main travel bag once at our ‘home base’ and it will be a great size for smaller week to two week trips. Debated the 35 for better carry-on compatibility but ultimately chose the 42 bc, in comparing allowance sizes, this will def work if not completely stuffed to the max. Also I chose this for the duffel strap and the water bottle sleeve. If the 35 had those, I may have gone with that one..

Allpa 42L
I just received this backpack. It is nicely constructed and I am excited to see how much I can fit into it. I am hoping to take this on a week long trip to England in July. I like that you can carry the bag by handles that are attached, or wear it like a backpack. This bag seems versitile.
